Product Description

RAVENOL MPS Motocross Powersynth 2T is high quality fully synthetic two-stroke engine oil with special esters and Polyisobutylene (PIB) for air and water cooled 2-stroke engines. Suitable for separate lubrication systems and self-mixing systems. RAVENOL MPS Motocross Powersynth 2T is formulated with synthetic base oils along with efficient low ash additives. The special formulation ensures rapid combustion of the mixture, excellent throttle response, and provides outstanding wear protection. Designed esspecially for 2-stroke engines of modern European and Asian manufacturers.

Technical Characteristics and Features:

Application Notes:

RAVENOL MPS Motocross Powersynth 2T can generally be mixed with regular gasoline to a 1:100 ratio. Due to its selected additive package the product is ideal for racing and normal road use. Speacially suited for air and water cooled 2-stroke gasoline engines, along with Enduro, Motocross, and Trial engines under extreme loads, where it achieves optimal lubrication.

    I've been racing for 5 years with WIXC and in those years I have tried a lot of oil with my go to oil being Klotz R50. This past winter Jim was a great man and offered a bottle of MPS to me promoting Ravenol, and as all racers know money gets tight so I mixed it at the same rate as klotz and went out. This oil is smokey at start up and here is why........ after doing two top ends this oil coats EVERYTHING!!!! Once she warmed up it burns super clean with no wear marks. My only concern is using race oxygenated race fuel and here is why..... most oxygenates are from either Methanol or Ethanol AKA Alcohol. Some oils will not mix with alcohol...... Ravenol held up and everything still had an oil film on it my concern was two small scuffs on the exhaust side (jetting was probably lean). This is a great oil and I will continue to use it and try to push to the 100:1 claim of Ravenol.
