Posted

This past weekend the ADAC GT Masters season kicked off at the usual Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. This race meeting offers the chance of taking a first look at the exciting, new racers of the different manufactures involved.

For years now, the ADAC GT Masters field has been featuring one of the most spectacular starting grids in the European motor-racing world with numerous stunning supercars. And this year, the debut of the new Honda NSX GT3 and the Ferrari 488 GT3 will add to the series’ attractiveness. Altogether, the season will be contested by 23 teams, running 36 cars supplied by eight manufacturers.

Identifying any favorites for the 2018 ADAC GT Masters season is virtually impossible

Identifying any favorites for the 2018 ADAC GT Masters season is virtually impossible as all the cars on the grid—Audi R8 LMS, BMW M6 GT3, Corvette C7 GT3-R, Ferrari 488 GT3, Honda NSX GT3, Lamborghini Huracán GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT3, Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3, and Porsche 911 GT3 R have got what it takes to win races. This means that the fans and all those involved may look forward to one of the closest, most thrilling seasons in the history of the sport.

Within the framework of the technical partnerships, RAVENOL also will be visibly represented on numerous partner vehicles: the racing cars of the teams Aust Motorsport, AutoArena Motorsport, EFP by TECE. MANN-FILTER Team HTP, MRS GT-Racing, Phoenix Racing, and Team Rosberg will be decorated by the flag-shaped RAVENOL logo. Furthermore, a 20x20-foot ADAC GT Masters / RAVENOL flag will be held by grid girls at the start-finish line prior to every feature race.
