Formula 1 Podium for RAVENOL's Partner Team Sahara Force India

Sahara Force India’s Sergio Perez did it once again: with a brilliant performance and a dose of luck he finished third behind Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Räikkönen in the hard-fought Azerbaijan GP.

Following a chaotic race with the Red Bull pairing Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen colliding with one another and forcing themselves into early retirements, Perez used the full-course yellow following the incidents to close in on the leaders. When Sebastian Vettel dropped back to third due to having massively flat-spotted one of his front wheels shortly after the restart while trying to regain the lead, he wasn’t able to fend off the pressurising Force India driver and had to let him pass. With this move, Perez secured third position and Vettel had to settle for finishing fourth.

In Baku, the new SFI-F1 VJM11 proved to be both reliable and fast enough to match the pace of the top teams: Ferrari, Mercedes, and Red Bull.

The next race will be the Spanish GP, held in Barcelona, Spain on May 13th. The race action will begin at 8:10 AM CST (6:10 AM PST). From July 20th to 22nd, 2018, Formula 1 will make its German stop, at the Hockenheimring. There, German Formula 1 enthusiasts can witness the F1 race action live on site at RAVENOL’s partner circuit.
