Formula One World Champion Nico Rosberg Paid Tribute to by ADAC

Last Saturday, at the ADAC Sports Gala, the German automobile club dignified the best German drivers with awards – first of all Formula One World Champion Nico Rosberg who was presented the ADAC Motor Racer of the Year Award. In a season that was a true thriller up to the final race, the German defeated his team-mate Lewis Hamilton, in the end. Following his historic triumph, Rosberg opted for retiring from motor racing at the peak of his career for good. Or for the time being…?

Another driver who was dignified with an award was Prema Powerteam-Pilot Maximilian Günther. In his second season on the FIA Formula 3 European Championship grid he secured a very fine second place, right behind his team-mate, Canada’s Lance Stroll.

Just recently, the Munich based automobile club announced the creation of a new young-driver series in cooperation with RAVENOL: the ADAC Kart Academy. For this project for the young-driver promotion in motor racing, ADAC will cooperate with former F1 and DTM driver Ralf Schumacher.

Meanwhile, RAVENOL closely collaborates with ADAC both in the new young-gun series and ‘The league of the Supercars’, the ADAC GT Masters. In 2016, the grid of the series features vehicles such as Audi R8 LMS, BMW M6 GT3, Corvette C7 GT3, Lamborghini Huracán GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT3, Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3, Bentley Continental GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3. All the teams involved could use RAVENOL products, such as RSS 10W-60Racing Gearoil or Racing Brake Fluid R325+. For the 2017 season, RAVENOL will keep on supplying the series with motor-racing lubricants. So, RAVENOL will keep on demonstrating its competitiveness in the GT3 category.
