Prema Powerteam Driver Maximilian Günther Paid Homage to by ADAC

Last week in Munich, 19-year-old Prema Powerteam driver Maximilian Günther was elected ADAC Junior Motor Racer of the year by an expert jury. With a result of 8:3 votes the gifted racing driver from Oberstdorf prevailed against Mick Schumacher. In his second FIA F3 European Championship season, Günther secured the very fine second place in the championship – behind his Canadian Prema teammate Lance Stroll. Maximilian Günther already successfully competed in karting and in the ADAC Formula Masters, the predecessor of the ADAC Formula 4.

Meanwhile, Nico Rosberg was voted ADAC Motorsport Athlete of the Year 2016. The Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 driver will receive his trophy along with Günther at the grand ADAC SportGala on 17th December in Munich. Rosberg will be presented with a large St Christopher statuette made from Nymphenburg porcelain while Günther will be handed a smaller version.
