Successful Race Weekend for RAVENOL and the Single-Seater Young Guns

Over the Easter weekend RAVENOL already celebrated their first single-seater racing successes of the year. In Formula 2, Italy’s Team PREMA celebrated a success courtesy of Ferrari Driver Academy member Charles Leclerc. Leclerc took the championship lead with a win in the second of the races held at Bahrain’s Sakhir International Circuit in the support program of the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix.

At the same time, the RAVENOL partners also impressed at Silverstone, UK. The British circuit staged the first three rounds of the 2017 FIA Formula 3 European Championship season. In the first race, Prema’s Maximilian Günther (GER) finished third (fourth in the second and third races). His team-mate Callum Ilot (UK) finished second in round two and won the third while Team Motopark driver Joel Eriksson (SWE) proved to be the best of the drivers racing for one of the RAVENOL partners: he finished fourth, first and second. Rookie Mick Schumacher (PREMA) came eighth, sixth and 18th and consequently holds second position in the rookie standings. While the FIA F3 European Championship leader after the first race meeting is Joel Eriksson.

Additionally, at Silverstone, all the single-seaters on the grid successfully used for the first time the newly developed RAVENOL F3 Gear premium.
